Your World. Your Table.
DragonTime turns any second screen into a living battle map, and immersive display for your tabletop sessions. Built by a DM for DMs, who play at a real table with real minis and want the tech to disappear into the background. Hook up your second screen, fire up DragonTime, and let your players see the world the way you imagine it.
This second screen controller software does away with subscriptions, and no cloud based components, no VTT overhead, no clunky interface – just the interface controls you need to map your world on that second screen and play the your game! Built to add your own physical minis or terrain (or not) it doesn’t get in YOUR way.
– no subscriptions,
– easy to use and navigate,
– built in audio and mapping components,
– expandable to different games with modules (think of these as your DM screens specific to your needs),
– no internet required,
– lean and light! Use that old laptop to run DragonTime,
The Scenes tab in DragonTime offer you mapping capabilities that can easily be sorted to define all upcoming areas your player will explore. Each with Fog of War and measurement tools. We play with minis and terrain on our screen (we love minis and have spent too much time painting them to not use them). DragonTime is to be used with or without minis – use the built in FX panels to add tokens, measurement effects (like a breath weapon from a dragon) and any special effect files you’ve downloaded. Don’t have minis? No problem, set up a folder of tokens for monsters and players and use those instead.
The Audio tab is a convenient place to sort all you ambiance tracks. Or music tracks (we have a different track for each character to come into battle “Let’s get ready to RUMMMMBBBLLLLEEE”). And you can make your own soundboard from your sound effects!
Finally, expand it’s capabilities IF you need! We didn’t want character sheets or campaign notes, but maybe you do, or you have your own way of handling that, so for specific needs and to make DRagonTime more robust we built modules. Basically, add-on tabs to DragonTime that gives you more – like a 5E initiative counter, or a Pirate Borg quick rule set, or a complete list of 5E spells. All the stuff you normally have behind your DM screen at your fingertips. And a Docs tab, so you can pop in all those cool images you find and show your players what the hell they are fighting in full HD! The nice thing is useless features to YOU aren’t in YOUR version of DragonTime.
Did we mention the price? At $5 for the core and $3 a module, it’s affordable! No subscriptions. We hate subscriptions. Remember the good old days where you bought software and it was yours? It’s back.
